We took a walk at New Quarter Park again this morning, but instead of walking on the paved trail, we went 'off-roading' on a different trail. There were lots of narrow wooded loop trails, that I couldn't take the stroller on, but even the main trail was difficult with this huge double stroller and my fat babies in it (not to mention carrying my own fat..)
We went downhill getting stuck in sand and gravel on the way down, but we got to the floating pier which was really pretty. There were bunches of oysters on the side of the dock, and we saw an Osprey in it's nest on a sign, and across the water was the Queens Lake community center with boats docked alongside it. Going back up that hill was difficult. I consider that a rigorous workout! It's hard enough to steer that thing on level ground. Then we walked a little on the pavement. Probably only 1.5 miles total. It was fun! But now I feel like there are bugs crawling all over me. :)

You all have awesome places to walk! I would be camping out and walking every day if I were there :) ;)
yes, it's very pretty at the parks here. Camping would be fun, but it would already be challenging for John and I alone, (since neither of us had families that did outdoorsy stuff) but I can't imagine it being possible with the babies so young. Someday in the future though...
