It was pretty hot today (about 95 degrees, but not too humid yet) so we went swimming again. This time grandma took care of Olivia back at her apartment so Susan and I could try to play with Lucas in the pool. I bought him these arm floatees (which he hated--maybe because they were little mermaid?) a tube, and a little tiny raft thing--mainly because it was toy story, but he didn't like them. He seemed to feel restricted but found out a few times, that if his head goes in the water, it's not fun! So he tolerated the ring and eventually relaxed while mommy paddled him around.
Looks like he's having lots of fun huh? not yet.

He was even brave enough to jump off the steps to me in his ring! He was so proud the first few times he clapped for himself :) He enjoyed it and since Olivia was back in grandma's apartment not out in the sun, it was a lot more enjoyable to swim. We stayed out for a while, I should have applied more sunscreen to my little casper--next time I will--I think a part of his neck/shoulders got a little red. Thanks grandma!

i know! she has a pretty distorted self-image, but she will appreciate (not believe)you saying she's tiny lol.
I was glad he eventually enjoyed it. would like to go today too--its pretty hot and humid!
