Staying Active

This morning, I got up and got the babies ready for a morning walk in the park at 8am. They both enjoyed it and Olivia fell asleep very comfortably. It was 2 miles round trip.
Here's some pictures of this morning's walk:

Olivia is so adorable and smiles a lot now. Every picture I take she is grinning, but it's another story at night during the routine. But who wants to see pics and video of that? besides, if I stood there recording it, it would just seem like neglect! Ah, well she is still cute though. And L+O together is painfully cute when they interact and he tries to make her laugh. It's like they have their own language.

Then Stephanie came over for a minute to watch Olivia while Lucas and I ran some quick errands. Made some donations to the DAV thrift store, mailed back an extra copy of a DVD that was accidentally sent to me, and filled the car with gas. Lucas was happy to be out without Olivia and the double stroller for once I think.
Then Stephanie invited us to go with her and the kids to Fort Eustis' little water play park. It was fun for Lucas--he was so into it and happy.
Here are some pics i took real quick--didn't get good ones--too busy...

But near impossible to enjoy for me because I was constantly keeping Lucas from falling, or running out in the muddy grass or just away from me! And then I had to watch for Olivia too, who did wake up. It would be easier if John were here...everything would be. I miss him desperately. I have realized after 8 years, I am still infatuated with him:)

Anyway, we came home and changed, had a snack and I decided to go back out to NQP for another 2 mile walk around 6:30pm. They whined a little, but eventually relaxed and watched the bikers, birdies, squirrels and planes. Very pretty park, but I was bored of walking and pushing the double stroller. And got real tired halfway through. I am glad I was more active and ate less today. but I am starving right now...I am not eating after 8pm though.
Here was the afternoon walk--so pretty outside:

Really trying to preoccupy myself, and I'm looking forward to John being home and going on a mini-trip to visit a friend. I feel like I am running on empty, but in reality, I have it so much easier than most. That thought makes me feel like crap! Eh, i'll go read my dr. laura now lol. goodnight :)

I can't wait to take Eddie to the water play park!

I wonder if it's time to get Lucas some water shoes/socks? That way, you aren't too worried about him slipping.

He looks so cute with his chubby belly :) awwww

yup! i just bought lucas some sandals today--for $8 at childrens place. I wasnt going to spend $30 for shoes he would wear maybe 4 months...all the outlet stores has expensive shoes. I knew I could find a better deal :)

he really had fun-- i was sorry i couldnt stay longer. John and I will probably take him back soon when he's home.
