One of my neighbors Melissa found a box of children's books that used to belong to her kids (who are now 16 and 17!) and offered them to me--I gladly accepted! Even though we just stocked up on books and videos from the library, the books she gave me are wonderful and most of them are perfect for their age. They are in almost mint condition and It will be nice to add to the shelf of books that the babies are allowed to play with and "read" to themselves, since they aren't allowed to touch the library books.

I found some pretty cool ones---I like this one called "Changes, Changes" because it has no words. It tells the story through pictures, of 2 dolls building a house of blocks that gets burned down so they salvage the pieces and build a boat :) The stupid picture uploader thing rotated these 2 pics for some reason...

And this was so cute--everyone remembers these. The pictures are so cool to look at--clay dolls in matchboxes and such :)
And of course there some really cool mini-novels of the Full House girls. Oh and this barely used Rainbow Brite book full of pop-out dolls and settings :) (If you want this Susan I will send it to you!)
Thanks!
