I haven't ever had the time to really doll up Olivia...she came so close behind Lucas, she was happy with most of his hand-me-downs. But she's always had a different primadonna personality and at 1 and a half, is already playing dress up. She comes into my closet, and gets into my bottom dresser drawer.....the one thats full of clothes that are too small for me, old belts and accessories, and ..some lingerie. She loves to put everything on and admire herself, then model and pose for us. It's hilarious because no one had to teach her...it was just instinctual. Guess they wouldn't fit in in the Swedish "gender-neutral" pre-schools. In fact, in Lucas' 2 and a half years of life, I probably dressed him up more than her! No, not really, but he's always hated when I put girly things on him as a joke. And during dress up time, he would only wear this tie lol. So we had a little dancey time.
And in other news, after a 10 minute tantrum of tears and drool (another teething phase...), Olivia (unknowingly) peed on the potty!
I gave her this little wind toy as a bribe, and she threw it down. I eventually lifted her up and saw her good deed. I tried to reward her and encourage her but I am not sure she understood. I am really training Lucas, who pretty much pees every time, but I am told girls learn faster so I sometimes put her on it too. I guess we better buy another one.
And she's also sort of graduated from finger-eating to using a spoon---although she still prefers to be a lot messier than Lucas with her food:

eeeyay! she's a ballerina, she is gonna be just like you, huh! haha. she so smart. love lucas' butterfly impression!
thank you
yeah she's smart and cute...but she's a real b*tch! She's pretty spiteful already lol. She really enjoys making messes or breaking things or pulling Lucas'hair and watches me react while she smiling and laughing.
