John and I haven't eaten out in SOOOOO long; besides sticking to a strict budget, I am eating healthier and am proud to say I am that much closer to my goal weight---lost 3 lbs this week!
But we decided after playing with Lucas at the park, we would take advantage of Subway's promotion for tax day today, where you buy any footlong get the second one free!
There was a line...out the door...because the other 2 local Subways had run out of bread! After waiting in line with the babies we realized one of us should take them back to the car and watch Veggietales--The kids and John waited in the car. It probably took almost a half hour to get the food, but it was only $6.25 for 2 big sandwiches.
John got the Italian BMT, I usually just get a plain turkey sandwich, but I decided to get a more expensive sandwich free...the sweet onion chicken teriyaki...(don't kill me Iris!) Yeah, I know John kept saying it's celebrating my weight loss...but you don't celebrate by gaining the weight back!
Anyway, it was a tasty meal. :) that I will not enjoy again for a while :)

Hey, at least it's not a burger and fries..
how funny that it's your favorite!--i just was looking at the napkin and saw that it was the worst of the 'fresh fit' sandwich list lol. Next time I will only get my usual turkey sandwich with half the calories lol.
