I'm sure their parent's are proud.
Bowlin’ for ‘Bortions, Kiss Our Uter-Ass, If Only Limbaugh’s Mom Used Birth Control, No Rosaries On My OvariesNext event is an abortion golf-a-thon in Washington D.C. For reals. Organized by the NNAF -The National Network of Abortion Funds (how many murder support groups do whores need?) it's aimed at raising money for abortions and access to them. So I guess they're dropping the facade that being pro-choice meant you want to reduce the need for abortion, and admitting they want more business?
If you call yourself 'pro-choice' or support abortion in any way, this probably isn't a big deal or offensive. If you think you're hot shit but your really cold diarrhea like Sarah Silverman, maybe making jokes about funding brutal torture and murder and genocide is an everyday thing.
I don't know how much more I can take of living in this country anymore. I am ashamed of my gender, and of what this country has become.
Stop treating sex without consequence like it's a civil right. Stop treating babies as disposable. Stop embarassing me and yourselves. Stop devaluing our gender.

I can't read this stuff without slumping over and dying for a second.
ditto...:(
I found your blog today, and although I don't follow some of the things you write about (I'm from Canada and don't follow American politics), you did say something that I completely agree with: "Stop treating sex without consequence like it's a civil right. Stop treating babies as disposable." That's probably the best thing I've ever read.
While I'm not really for abortions, I do believe in the freedom to decide (I know, it's kinda contradictory). But your words, honestly, say exactly how I feel. Women treat abortion as a regular, every-day thing that will absolve them of any consequences of their actions. I may use those words at some point, when someone tells me abortions are okay if you don't want a baby.
So thank you.
Suz,
I can't tell how you much it means to me that you commented in support of the sentiment I feel. Fighting this issue has been a big part of who I am, and it has resulted in many lost friendships sadly. And I get very depressed and feel helpless the more articles like this that I read, because the average person doesn't think about or truly research what's going on to feel a fraction of the passion I do...so this callous and hateful type of behavior flies largely under the radar.
So hello to you in Canada and thanks for taking the time to write :)
Thank you!
p.s. believe me, I don't quite "follow" American politics either! :)
ditto what Iris said, too. I love you and knowing you are here in this same world with me makes me feel like we can win some hearts. you are my army, lady! don't be discouraged, don't lose focus. we are here for a little while and our trials and tribulations are there to perfect us. in your perseverance you will reach your potential and receive the crown of life. you don't know how much you really are doing. God is so proud of you! your words inspire ONLY good! that's what's so wonderful about you; what you say can never be misconstrued as anything bad. its so refreshing! LOVE it so much!
Thanks Susan you always say such sweet things. I hope I can change people, and that I please God, but I feel helpless and never know if I am saying the right things. There seems to never be a "right time and place" for this issue, but it cannot be ignored. It mentally and emotionally drains me...which is exactly the reason I need to go to God more often. Today's mass and welcome breakfast for new parishioners (havent registered since we moved here) left me feeling motivated and secure...maybe even enough to head the pro-life ministry--i spoke to the parish priest briefly about it. Wouldn't that be awesome to get members of the church together and basically speak to them about how to approach the topic with friends/family/average people? I think it's a very necessary topic for the church.
yes, that is awesome. get in touch with pregnancy counseling centers (they typically talk women into anything but abortion) there's one out here i wanted to do some work with but it conflicts with my regular working hours. anyway, they are an awesome resource for information to help women get stronger and wiser. you may be able to buddy up with the counselors there ( assuming you have a place like this where you live) and get them to speak to your church. we had one speak at our church and it had such a great impact everyone went to the lobby and signed up to volunteer! great idea, minister!
