A Perfect Morning

The next morning we packed up and got ready, the bellhop took our things downstairs and we talked to a manager at the front desk. We were worried about where to park the car, if we should take the metro to the National Mall, and where to eat. He was so generous, he stored our luggage, let us keep our car in their lot free of charge, gave us a map and told us how nice a walk it'd be, and recommended their breakfast buffet out on the patio. Everything worked out great!

Some funny AM pictures...the only one that got really good sleep was Lucas, who kept spinning and kicking us. Olivia slept fairly well in her travel crib too.

So comfortable-About to take a nap as we got ready and packed

The hotel manager took this--and then we went to the patio for breakfast

All that greasy goodness, and then we were off for a nice morning walk

That's the Capitol building way behind us.

I liked all the old buildings--don't know what this one was though.

This was outside the Ronald Reagan building--and behind me is my favorite Addison quote...ya, kidding. I have no idea who he was.

I got a lot of pictures of the Washington Monument...and here's Lucas tired of being out in the sun--ready for the museum next!

That would be a lot of fun. The look on their faces when they freeze in awe, on Small World is priceless :)
