We took a trip to the Los Angeles Zoo on wednesday, courtesy of Brianne and her free tickets. We went with my cousin Jenny, her husband Izzy, their baby Evelyn, and then we finally got to meet Brianne's babies, Ethan and Sophie. It was a fun trip even though Brianne had to leave early with Sophie for a class. Ethan stayed with us and then we all met up back at Grandma Emma's. Ethan really wore Johnny out! All that walking and I started to get some contractions, so I pulled my stroller over, only to be stung (for the first time) by a bee! It was painful and not at the most convenient time...My cousin jenny pulled the stinger out. It looked worse the next day but I forgot to get a picture:
Before we got there, Ethan was swinging on the chains for the line, and fell back..check out the bump on his head!! looks pretty bad (and never went down..wouldn't let brianne put ice on it) but he was a pretty tough kid!

And then we went over to Grandma Emmas for dinner--we had some delicious Costco pizzas! As soon as John strapped Ethan in the car and the radio came on, he said, "This is AC/DC..this is 'hells bells!'" His daddy is a big fan :)
Thank you Grandma, Grandpa and Brianne! Ethan even called them "grandma+grandpa"!

i'm so glad we got to see you guys while you were here. you have such a sweet family. we can't wait 'til you come back out here with olivia!
I love all the pics. Man, you even got a picture of Ethan's massive wallop. He still has a slight lump there.
Thanks so much for watching Ethan while I went to class, especially to John. Now you understand where I'm coming from when I blog about my crazy active kids;) I definitely have some wild ones that really keep me busy and entertained.
I'm so glad I got to see you all. I only wish you lived closer so we could see more of each other. I would be in on those game nights you have as well.
Ethan talked about you guys for a few days after. Saying how he liked you guys.
jenny- thanks! we had a great time and its exciting to have our babies play all together! I am sure it will be even funner next time with olivia, lucas, evelyn and your next baby (?)! Keep in touch--update your blog when you get a chance!
brianne- thanks so much for making time for us--not everybody does that just for us! i hope your classes didn't suffer too much lol. You really do have your hands full and I hope things get easier for you everyday. Keep having those babies watch my videos so they remember us til next year! you'll all be in our prayers.
