It's a little complicated, but I guess nowadays, pretty common. Grandpa and Grandma McCammon are the grandparents of my half-brother, and half-sisters from my mom's first marriage, but I always called them my grandparents--and they are the only ones I have left! They are age 85 and 86 and still taking care of their home in Reseda, where they have resided for more than 56 years! They bought it for $13,000!!! They met in church in January, engaged in February and were married a few months later, and that was 61 years ago!

So John, Lucas and I stayed over for 2 nights and had a barbecue on Saturday, when my sister Sarah and her two little girls Raquel and Maxine came over. Also my cousin Jenny, (her twin Mary had to work) came over with her husband Israel and their 3 month old Evelyn. So adorable and sooo much hair! Another pleasant surprise, a good friend from high school, Brianne came over to visit too! John and I were both friends with her, even when he was my bully :). It was such a nice time and meal together. And we played Acquire after dinner (which John won...).
These are random pictures from the visit--can't label them all now, but you'll figure out who is who I am sure:

And the barbecue:

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!
