Day 5- From UT to CA!

From windy Cedar City Utah, we drove through arizona, nevada and finally to CA. We stopped at a Burger King for John to have a whopper and Lucas to have a couple french fries, and we saw these guys playing chess in the dining room...I snuck a picture just for fun. Then we drove through what resembled the Grand Canyon on a smaller scale, since we didn't go to the real one yet (possibly on the way home).





I know these pictures aren't always in the best chronological order, but they are at least from the correct day/hotel! These are from the hotel in the windy Cedar City Holiday Inn. We didn't swim that night, because we drove all day and just wanted to eat our panda express and sleep.






And here we are leaving UT, for Nevada, where we briefly stopped in Las Vegas, and then Primm--the state line to have lunch at Whiskey Pete's.






















It was a nice drive for the last day of travel, and coming home to the Antelope Valley was bittersweet. Full of memories--especially of my late father. There were lots of new businesses and buildings, but the area seems to be a lot trashier and everything in CA is in spanish. This is the only state we drove through where the freeways were littered with trash! How progressive huh? I don't have the CA pictures uploaded yet, sorry! This one is full of pictures anyway...trying to figure out how I uploaded pictures on this computer--until then, enjoy!
