Here is the pool in Kentucky--not heated, but Lucas still loved it! He loves splashing and trying to swim away from Johnny.
And we were off to Kansas City!
Here we drove through Kentucky, a little bit of Indiana/Illinois, and then to Missouri. We made a couple rest stops but everyone was comfortable in the car and Lucas was an angel! We drove by the arch in St. Louis, and then to the first Jack in the Box in our path.
Here is the casino, where we ate Arthur Bryant's BBQ, and saw some people get arrested and cuffed in the parking lot:
Here is the next pool--not heated again. The jacuzzi wasn't hot, just warm so lucas loved it.

Iris- thanks! I am trying to make it interesting all the way through--i already filled up the memory card so I need to unload them on here and try to remember little things about each place we went to. I am at grandma emma's house now but when we get back to john's mom's house I will make day 3 hopefully lol.
Jen-- thanks so much! I was scared about cominghome because a lot of these people haven't seen me since my dad's funeral in 2005 or earlier, and I know they're thinking when they see me now, "dang! she blew up!" But, I AM pregnant so I get some leeway :)
Shawna- Yup, the trip here was pretty easy. Lucas was such a good boy and adjusts to any environment. Thanks for the tips about KC and we hope to visit you guys there soon--let me know whats going on with the house you put an offer in for!

thanks sarah---i have grown a lot alreadysince being on this trip! those old stretch marks on "lucas' old room" are getting dark again. but we are enjoying ourselves and endulging in some good food---hope i have your will power when i am not pregnant to lose some weight :)
It took me 4 years to do it FOR REAL. I tried half-assedly several times. I got prego with Raquel 6 years ago. I am 15 lbs lighter now than I was when that happened. Problem is I need a whole new wardrobe.
I'll help you when the time comes!
new wardrobe would be fun--shopping hasn't been fun since. and john recently told me (whether it's true or not doesnt matter lol) that he would rather me spend money on clothes and girly stuff than be frumpy already lol. Knowing how he is about money, i was excited and motivated to lose weight. Besides that, I am more andmore wanting to get some "cosmetic surgery", and we have agreed that when/if i get down to an ideal weight we will consider it lol.
