Here are some pictures from last week. These simple moments alone with the kids are so important to me..although I sometimes feel overwhelmed. Or over-react. Or push them too hard in 'school'. There always comes a time when I read about someone else's plight and realize how lucky I am. I am so happy to have my kids home with me, to be teaching them, to be witnessing their growth daily, in every way but especially spiritually. I am so grateful I have the luxury to stay home and do whatever dorky/fun stuff we do together. Having Frankie has made me want to do more. To have more kids possibly. Adopt for sure. But mainly to be present in their lives. Reading books about my faith, concentrating more in my daily prayers, confession and discussion of the Bible with my husband & family, (all fairly new things for me...or rather, things I didn't value or practice enough before) help me to pay attention to the time slipping by that I might be online or on my phone, or just ignoring my kid's. So...here are some pictures that make me feel all lovey/blessed/peaceful...happy!
We found some chalk we hadn't used in years, and they loved drawing hopscotch--and Frankie giggled at Lucas as he hopped :)
I love my chubby boy. So squishy and loving...he always smiles. So sweet.

My baby Frankie
We walked home by this rock and Lucas asked to go stand on it. The weather was beautiful so I let them. I thought they'd say something like, "I'm king of the world!" but no...he said, "GOD IS MY ROCK!" Impressed me. So I let them write it with the chalk. The next day we saw another family taking a picture of it--it was still there :)
Don't you just wanna squeeze him!?
