Susan took me to this little restaurant (Charly's)at the tiny Williamsburg airport on Thursday--the food was pretty good and cheap. We saw a flyer (ha ha) for a 40th anniversary celebration of the airport where they have all kinds of tiny airplanes. So we took the babies to see them today. We were glad it wasn't rainy like yesterday, but it was very windy so we didn't stay too long.
Here are some pictures of all the planes and toy planes-Lucas liked seeing them take off:
Then we got to get in this little plane--and meet the guy that built it. His name is Buzz and he offered to take us flying for free anytime! We may take him up on the awesome chance. Buzz served in the Marines for 28 years and he now works with the Young Eagles program that offers free plane rides to kids, but he said he would take Susan and I whenever we want and go right over our house! He reminded me of grandpa Charles who is very into planes as well. Pretty cool and Lucas loved it :)

Don't get my heart pumping over Xmas! I am already so looking forward to it. I heard they don't really start to get excited for it, until age 3 though....hmmmmm!
