She recently wrote a blog about Missy Smith, who is running for Washington D.C. delegate for the U.S. House of Representatives. Smith made a 30-second ad for youtube, in which she shows pictures of aborted babies...her anti-abortion values are her main platform. She has actually had two abortions, and talks about how angry she is that she was lied to.

I feel so sorry for women who have had abortions, because they have to deal with that fact the rest of their lives. I think the only therapy that can help them when they are truly repentant is devoting their lives to preventing other women from being exploited and lied to about their unplanned pregnancies.

I understand that the average person is annoyed when pro-lifers show pictures of abortions. But I have to ask why?

Her ad was pulled from Youtube, which claims the ad violates their policy on "disgusting or vulgar content." Think about all the videos you see on Youtube...why should a picture of a "woman's choice" be banned, if it's so liberating? Many pro-choicers don't even think it's a baby so why is it considered vulgar and disgusting?

This kind of contradiction is never exposed; it's easier to brand pro-lifers as deluded Jesus-freaks who enjoy looking at these pictures. The truth is, people would rather stay ignorant as to what an abortion is, and looks like. Which is the same reason why women obtaining or even considering an abortion, aren't allowed to see the sonogram of their live baby moving around, heart beating, hiccups, sucking thumbs etc (which the abortionist has to look at while he kills it). DOES ANYBODY HONESTLY THINK THAT IF WOMEN WERE SHOWN PICTURES OF ABORTIONS, THEY WOULD FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THEM AT THE CLINIC?

Yes the pictures are offensive, because THE ACT is offensive. And denying those pictures is choosing to stand by while approximately 3700 babies are brutally murdered everyday.

As Dr. Laura said, "Choosing without being totally informed is not really make a choice. It is hiding from actually making a choice."

On her page, a doctor and professor of pathology certifies that the pictures are taken of babies aborted by Saline (burning them inside out) or "intrauterine killing and forced extraction". If you are truly pro-choice, please watch the ad to be aware of the choice you are supporting.
