Ever since Lucas started dancing to 'Viva Las Vegas', I have been listening to, watching and even reading about Elvis a lot. At the library this week I decided to check out Priscilla Presley's autobiography,
"Elvis & Me", not really thinking I would find the time to enjoy it. Well, the first night I had it, I unwittingly read >250 pages and stayed up til 2AM! I didn't mean to, but it was so interesting. The first half is so touching and amazing (she was 14 when they met in Germany!) and the rest I just felt sorry for Priscilla during. I highly recommend reading it! She doesn't go into a lot of detail out of respect for Elvis, but it's still an amazing story. I see him in a very different light; I would be so angry at him and crazy if I had to deal with what she did, but I understand his charm everyone around him was so in love with. I know there have been movies made out of her story, and I'll probably watch them, but I know they won't compare with reading her words. So check it out!

Yikes...:

And it's even funnier to watch all his "beach-and-bikini" flicks, knowing how much he hated doing them...Blue Hawaii and Viva Las Vegas are bearable...Kissin Cousins is NOT.
