Susan G. Komen...

I was talking with my neighbor today, and she informed me of an important issue. She prefaced it with "I think you're rubbing off on me," which I am totally flattered by :)

We talked about how everywhere you look, we are being told to be aware of breast cancer...everything you buy, is in a special pink box...how her daughters are coming home from school with "Save the Tatas" crap. It makes you wonder why there is so much emphasis on breast cancer, when it is typically a lot less serious than other cancers. Why is everything covered in pink?

Well, she looked into it and we figured it out. The Susan G. Komen Foundation, which supposedly aims to find a cure for breast cancer, gives hundreds of thousands of dollars in grants to Planned Parenthood. So basically all this "Save The Tatas" (and what a stupid way to try to get kids and men interested in their cause) crap is propaganda to make more money for the abortion industry. It's not so much about informing women of breast cancer, than it is a fundraiser for evil, and a sneaky way to get people's support monetarily and not, to reward mass murderers and the politician's that protect their right to do it.

When you see a car with a pink ribbon saying "Save the Tatas," what they are really unwittingly saying is "kill the babies". Not to mention all the studies that suggest a strong connection between having abortions, and contracting breast cancer. The Susan G. Komen foundation was founded by Susan's (who died from breast cancer at age 36) sister Nancy Brinker, who served on the advisory board for the Dallas Planned Parenthood. It is very unfortunate that she is a Republican who was appointed 'Chief of Protocol' by President Bush in 2007. Any politician who doesn't put the right to live above everything else, loses major points with me. I don't care that the Susan G. Komen Foundation explains their grants to PP, by saying that they perform 'breast exams for un-insured poor women'. (As if women rush into Planned Parenthood for anything other than killing babies--whether through 'contraceptives' or by the bloody hands of a psychopath). It doesn't even matter anyway because the funds are still going to an organization that kills, regardless of how they allot the money.

Back in 2004, Eve Sanchez Silver who worked as a medical research analyst for the Komen Foundation, and also a two-time breast cancer survivor, learned about the funds going to PP, and was also angry about Komen's denial of the abortion-breast cancer correlation, so she quit:

"The Foundation has done so much for so many women through its programs and research grants," Sanchez Silver told LifeNews.com. "But this revelation about Planned Parenthood and [Komen], indicates a well thought out funding strategy."
(Sanchez Silver is the director of Cinta Latina Research, an organization that conducts research into breast cancer issues and their effects on minorities. She is concerned that Planned Parenthood targets minorities and noted that such groups have abortions at higher rates than Caucasians.)
Sanchez Silver says that women deserve to know the recent research showing a link exists and that women who have induced abortions are at greater risk for contracting breast cancer than women who carry the pregnancy to term.

However, for minorities, that risk can be even greater.

"Black and Latina women have very aggressive breast cancers, often reported very late, often, unhappily, too late," Sanchez Silver told LifeNews.com. "If there are facts to be known they should be broadcasted, not swept under the rug."

You can't remain ignorant for a second anymore; the crazies are seeping into everything around you. Even our tax dollars will be funding abortions around the world. Be aware of what you are endorsing.
Dang...and I like to wear pink. I already gave up rainbows, now I have to give up pink!?
Thanks Stephanie :)
here's a list of their corporate partners so you can let them know (they probably don't...I can't believe I didn't!):

Planned parenthood is not limited to just "mass murders". They support health by offering free breast exams, pap smears, std checks etc. They also offer birth control services for women who are unable to secure these methods either due to a lack of insurance, an abusive spouse (bc can be given on the spot) etc. They are a much needed organization for health services to many uninsured women (and uninsured does not just mean poor). To instantly call the Komen foundation "baby killers" is ridiculous and a poor generalization on your part.

I wonder who this is from??

So since they might moonlight as 'doctors' for other women's services, we can ignore their mass murders? That's pretty crazy. I hate to invoke the ol' Hitler analogy, but sometimes it's useful when people try to excuse abortion with irrelevant fallacies. Regardless of whether or not PP gave free exams, killing has been their most important job period. SO, if Hitler picked up trash on the weekends, and donated money to St. Judes, would that cancel out his mass murdering?

It is crazy to me, to hear women defend PP--when they are being exploited and used by PP. It is astounding that no one seems to care about PP being racist--aside from their initial intentions under founder Sanger, they kill 5x as many black babies as white (http://blackgenocide.org/planned.html). Why do people choose to see PP as angels who come to the rescue when a woman needs a real doctor and/or counseling? Open your eyes and see PP for what it is--a business heavily funded by our tax dollars ('non-profit' my ass), and deeply devoted to the continuation of abortion and taking advantage of women in general. PP are in no way charitable--their evil intentions are always behind every action they take. BTW, look into what birth control does...it is not always prevention---it thins the uterine lining to the point that even if an egg is fertilized and makes it to the uterus, it won't be able to attach to the uterine wall. I don't have pity for women who "can't afford" birth control, especially if their priority is to be having sex. This is not like denying someone treatment for a legitimate life/death condition; pregnancy is not a disease. I am not going to get into the socialized healthcare argument because healthcare is not a fundamental right.

And the uninsured poor comment was what they excused their association with PP with. I didn't call Komen 'baby killers'---they are fundraisers for the baby-killing profiteers. I said that people with "Save the Tatas" stickers are UNWITTINGLY saying "kill babies", because that's what some of the proceeds support. Generalization or not, the bottom line is they fund the top abortion provider in the US.

Oh, Sam. I could spend some time letting you know just how you're wrong, but I realize that you are too deeply entrenched in conservative absurdities for it to ever make sense to you.

Instead, just know that someone out there in cyber space read your rant, laughed hella hard at you, momentarily hung her head in shame, and then thanked the heavens that she wasn't as naive as you.

NOTE TO PRO-ABORTION FOLK:

Consider my 'controversial' posts to be forums in which YOU have a chance to state an argument and back it up. If you really want to convince people that read this that your opinions are more worthy, take the chance to refute the things I am saying. Merely attacking with baseless fallacies/assumptions reveals the weakness of your stance, and a very rudimentary level of argumentation.

It would be like me writing you off as a "Jesus-freak" for saying you thanked the heavens.

Carrie, don't think you're saying anything new; I am more than accustomed to the garbage you posted. It's very frustrating that you don't have an argument though...I don't even know you and you already know so much about me! How'd you know I was so deeply entrenched in my conservative absurdities? It's a hobby. But even so, have a little faith in my mental capacity, and try to explain yourself. I promise i'll turn off my Fox News, put down my guns, and turn down my Toby Keith long enough to hear you out :)

p.s. "hella?" really?! nerd.
