Went to New Quarter park today and walked a couple miles with the babies. This was the first time I put Olivia directly in the stroller, and not in her carseat in the stroller. She didn't like it at the beginning or end, but she went to sleep in it eventually and liked the warm sun and fresh air. Lucas was excited to see birds and kept pointing and calling them 'doggies'.
Then Stephanie came over just as I saw that Olivia pooped herself in the carseat and made a mess. I was trying to use the last of the size 1-2 diapers, but looks like she won't allow it--gotta move on to size 2, which is okay since Lucas has a whole bunch of every size left over. Stephanie gave her a bath for me and Callie played with Lucas. Everyone is finally bathed and sleeping. Dishes done, some laundry done and the dogs are fed. I wish I could say this routine is getting easier, but I'm not quite a pro yet!
John spends a little time home tomorrow before leaving for the week, so maybe we'll go walking at James River if it's nice again. I hope I make him proud when he comes home to me and the babies...I mean, I always want to impress him and be the best wife and mom I can be. I feel like I am constantly cleaning and feeding and entertaining someone and hope that John knows I take pride in being his wife and mothering our kids. I know he feels like he is interrupting our routine when he comes home, and maybe sometimes he is lol, but we love him and want him home for good, thats all!

You have inspired me to go for a nice long walk tomorrow :)
thanks. well wherever you walk with eddie and zero it looks like a nice park. i know spring is coming and that means lots of colors out here, but it also means more bugs and horrible allergies...I don't know if I want to take claritin since it can diminish my supply of breastmilk. her tummy is still bothering her though so I may do what you said and give her a mix. someone else also recommended giving karo syrup with water...
