Freaking Che T-shirts

When will people actually learn about the people they support, elect, wear etc.??? I just saw this video on Michelle Malkin's blog.

She is writing about the leftist pro-illegal alien amnesty group beating up someone who disagreed with them, during a protest on the street last November. Nothing really surprising there, but I noticed they were carrying signs with Che Guevara on them and I just wish these people would read up on him and not just watch romanticized and euphemized (yeah, it's a word!) movies about him. And Carlos Santana and Johnny Depp go around with their Che gear--which in and of itself is funny considering the commercial aspect of this anti-capitalist (and someone who wanted to ban music--yeah that includes jay-z and santana) killer's face on every possible thing you could sell. I stopped liking Depp a long time ago--he's gotten too pretentious for my taste.

Anyway, I was reading this article briefly and thought I would post it so that those of you who might know one of those Che shirt people, might set them straight (or at least laugh at their idiocy/hypocrisy). The article is called "The Killing Machine:Che Guevara, from Communist Firebrand to Capitalist Brand" by Alvaro Vargas Llosa. check it out when you have the time. One part I appreciated was that the young Argentines don't understand Che chic, and are annoyed to the point that they having a saying, "“
Tengo una remera del Che y no sé por qué,” or “I have a Che T-shirt and I don’t know why.”

Do people not know how many deaths he caused? He oversaw hundreds of executions, and he even personally executed people and wrote sadistically in detail of the pleasure derived from it. Anyone with "butcher" in their nickname, can't be a good person, let alone a symbol of peace and tolerance.
A great special on Glenn Beck (yeah the over-dramatic theatrical guy)reveals the truth about Che:

"14,000 men and boys were killed in 1960's Cuba...you can call him clinically, a sadist" -Humberto Fontova

"he said to his revolutionary comrades, if they weren't sure of someone's loyalty, if in doubt, kill him."-Nick Gillespie

Especially touching is the story of Barbara Rangel and her grandfather Col.Cornelio Rojas who was without trial, brutally executed (although they allowed him to give the firing orders when they shot him--what great humanitarians huh?). Watch a little half way through the video to skip to her account.

*My friend Michelle Malkin* (I wish)

On another note, I don't want to take credit or anything (shucks!) but I emailed Michelle Malkin yesterday regarding the yahoo articles I read about the crazed Pentagon shooter being "just another right wing extremist", despite the fact that he was a registered democrat and one of those idiotic 9/11 truthers (anyone in line with Charlie Sheen is automatically an idiot). AND she posted today about it! But she went one step further and decided not to play the blame game and say he's right or left, but he's in fact CRAZY and a diagnosed bi-polar without his meds. True. Thanks Michelle!
