Old Pictures

When my mom moved out here, she thought she had lost all our family photos forever--she left them in a box with a friend and they couldn't find them until recently. She is going to have them shipped out soon---and I am SOO excited to see them. I mean, I have almost no pictures to remember my dad by, and it breaks my heart that Lucas and Olivia won't be familiar with their funny grandpa so i am anxious to get them! But also all of my and my siblings childhood. I had a great childhood. Very happy. High school may have sucked, but I have good memories growing up in that house in Littlerock.
Anyway, I do have a few old photos that I kept and I just love looking back at them. Norman probably won't like this but I think this picture is so cute. Norman had just gotten out of the bath--he was only ~7 yrs old! This was circa 2002/2003. And yes, that was my dad's colossal gun safe. :)

"Hi stomach I will never have again!"

And I love this picture, because it's just so cool that John was there and involved in the family 7 years ago. This was Norman's birthday in April 2002---wow! this must have been just after John asked me to prom! I didn't understand why he asked me--he was so mean to me at school before that, and I didn't fully trust his motives at first, but he was different after that. Here he is holding a pinata with yes, a swiffer sweeper pole haha! I love it. I guess that kinda thing sorta solidified John's place in the family :)

Actually, there's another story that truly was the test of John's love for me...he helped dig out our septic tank when it needed to be pumped..that's true love yall! har har.

And this one was I think around 2001/2002--at Knott's Berry Farm. We all had bleached orange-ish hair lol. It was fun though--- I don't remember getting sick on anything!

Can't wait to get all those photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
