Errands

Did some errands today. They were little things, but getting 3 people ready and put in the car with all the essentials (food, water, milk, diapers etc) takes a lot of time, but I feel good like I am constantly active now since I am always taking them up and downstairs and fetching things, washing things. Olivia keeps pooping out of her diapers even though they are size 1-2 so I gave her a bath.
SO, when we finally left I went to deliver John's California driving record to the Allstate insurance office. We just switched because we got a deal with them: we pay ~$260 for both cars for 6 months! So, they requested his driving record within the month of february. I told them I've done this before (when I got the job at the U.S. Post Office in NY) and they take their time...I knew it would probably take a full month. It did--but I turned it in today and that's settled. I put both babies in the stroller only to get to the office which only had stairs...which may have been possible with a single stroller, not double. She came out to get it from me though :).

Then we went to get the oil changed. I had a coupon for $9.95, but ended up paying $24 because I guess the Equinox takes a 'special' oil and an extra quart of it. I was okay with it even if I was duped. The guy asked me where I was from. I said California, and he said "You don't have a California accent!" And I asked "Well, I am just getting my voice back from a cold, but what exactly is a 'California accent?'" And he said "I dont know but not yours!" Hmm...One of my teachers from an English course in NY said he knew I was from California from the way I talked...I take that as an insult! But he was from NYC so they're pretty much all retarded and annoying.

And then finally when Susan came home she generously babysat the crazy babies so I could go to the gym again---this is the third night in a row! Thank you so much Susan--it never was such a luxury to workout! but more of that on the weight loss blog.

I have a list of things I want to get done before John's return and some are finally checked off! You know, like bikini waxing. Just playin! Today was a productive day :)

You should go for the Brazilian waxing. lol.
It sounds like you had one crazy day.
That's funny you metioned CA accents. Do we really have an accent? Not that I can tell. Though I get asked if I'm from Minnesota, because I say my o's funny.
