Then they stopped in Tennessee, then North Carolina, where they picked us up some Jack in the Box tacos since the one in Hickory, NC is the closest one to us lol:

They came out to attend the commissioning ceremony of the carrier John is on, the U.S.S. George H. W. Bush CVN 77, the last of it's kind (Nimitz).
Two days later, on John's birthday, I gave birth to their fourth grandson, Lucas James Hodge. While we stayed in the hospital, they took care of the house, and our rambunctious wiener dogs. The dogs really took to them-you can see why:
We also had a game night and taught them how to play Ticket to Ride. John won of course, but I think they enjoyed it.
Thanks for taking care of the house and the wiener dogs- sorry you didn't quite make it to see Lucas' birth- he wanted out!

That was nice of them, to bring the food for you ^__^ and to watch the dogs.
That is REALLY nice of them to take care of the house and dogs for you. And to bring you tacos! Haha, that's so cute.
yeah i know i came home and i am still noticing things they either fixed, replaced or cleaned lol. And the dogs seemed very happy to have someone attending to them.
