Day 2 continued

After they had their nap, we took them out in Jen's cool wagon to go to the nearby park. It's cool because Bill grew up in this town and helped build this park when he was little. The boys enjoyed their ride and their snacks. Lucas loves parks and climbing on everything. Olivia really enjoyed being in the body carrier with Dada--she fell right to sleep. It's my favorite place to sleep too :)

Later that evening, we got ready and went across town to this cute chowder house in Weymouth. We all had their seafood chowder which was pretty good, and were waiting for our meals and appetizers which were taking a while since it started getting busy. Lucas and Chase began to get whiney, but Chase was able to keep himself busy with toys Jen brought...Lucas, not so much. He didn't want any of the food we gave him, and the waitress even brough us crayons and a menu to color on, but he wasn't having it. Thankfully Olivia slept the whole time. I had to take Lucas out to the car and watch a movie while they all finished eating. We haven't eaten out with him at all lately since we stay home and eat, so I didn't realize what hell it is to deal with a terrible (almost) two year old in a restaurant!

I was looking at your pictures and showing Alex and I said "Alex do you remember John and Samantha?" And he pointed to John's picture and said "John" in a little singing voice! He is doing so good!

It looks like you guys had a blast on your trip! Can't wait to see you guys!

I am just catching up on your blogs. And just the other day, my mother in law got a hold of that same wagon, from a friend who no longer uses it. CUTE! Lucas is so big. He looks like a little boy. Of course, Olivia is GORGEOUS! She should be on a cover of a baby magazine <3
