After the parade and the rock, we stopped at Friendly's restaurant for lunch on the way home. It had a somewhat sentimental purpose, as Jenny was the first person to show me a Friendly's back in NY. I remember she had me try their chicken quesadillas and it was really good. But the best thing about Friendly's is their ice cream...but we decided not to get any as it would melt on the drive home. Lucas, again was out of control. This time it was kinda understandable; it was his naptime and he wasn't hungry. Plus it was freezing in there. But he kept throwing everything we gave him on the floor, and screaming. So Jenny took him outside for a bit and we quickly ate and left. He fell asleep in the car.
Then we went home and let the babies have their precious nap. Jen and I went to their grocery store "Trucchi's" (funny how every little area has a funny named store....price chopper, food lion, piggly wiggly's) and picked up some items to make side dishes for our 4th of July steaks Bill was grilling. We made potato salad, BBQ beans, and corn.
We finished making our sides and the babies were still sleeping, so we went for another dip in the pool. Jen graciously took these pictures of me and my bathing suit. I was happy to find it at Kmart (yeah, who goes there anymore? I was looking for shoes for Lucas and got lucky!) and it was on clearance for $11! The shoes I got at target on sale for $17....and let me tell you, the craziest thing...John likes the suit, but he LOVES the shoes!

Then the babies got up and played a bit while Bill grilled the steaks. They were delicious and HUGE! We ate til we were all full, and fed Lucas and Chase their dinner too.

Then after washing the dishes I realized everyone was having a party in Jen & Bill's room lol. Olivia was laughing with Jen :)
Lucas got to have a jello popsicle:
And then since it was our last night, we decided to let Lucas have one last swim. He had a lot of fun with daddy. He kept throwing the ball in the basket and clapping. Then we enjoyed the fire Bill made-Lucas was amazed with it. And we relaxed watching the bats eat all the bugs as they flew around.
Then we bathed the babies and put them to bed. We watched the Boston Pops and fireworks ceremony on TV, without the hassle of a crowd of >900,000 as Boston was 20 minutes away. It was a very nice and relaxing 4th of July.

Ok don't get lazy with this comment, but you look so good! LOL I get lazy when people tell me I look good, that's why I said that :D But you really do! I love the whole bathing suit AND shoes! Lucky you and that buy :D
Thanks Iris! I won't get lazy...John's gone so thats when I keep busy and eat less lol. I really am happy with results I've seen so far. I wish I had an accurate scale, but I think i might be out of the 170's again. I didn't think it would happen so easily, or quickly! And yeah, that bathing suit and those shoes were the most worthwhile buys i've had in a while!
