Iris taught me this delicious substitute for processed/sodium filled chips since we both like them. I just used my favorite pita pockets, cut them up and drizzled a little olive oil on them, put a little salt, and baked them for 10 minutes. Very good! Thanks!
Yeah, I haven't been to the gym in a while. So I probably have gained weight. I will be going this week when John is home to babysit. I know it will be horrible though since it is already so miserably hot and humid outside, I know the nasty base gym will be too.

WOW! How awesome is that? :D They look DELICIOUS! I am kinda hungry now LOL! YUMMY :) I put them in baggies and keep them handy when I want to munch.
About not going to the gym, don't worry too much about it. Just try to keep eating well. You won't gain, if you eat well.
Also, do stuff from home. Gym is nice because you don't get interrupted and you can finish your workout in less time, but it's really not necessary.
What about walks? Can you do that? You guys like going to the park. Why not go and climb on the playgrounds.

You can also do this circuit with Lucas or Olivia: (If at any time they run away or don't want to play anymore. You can still do it without them. If they want up and don't want you on the floor, simple dancing with one of them on your hip is enough.)
1) Put either of them on a high chair or baby seat. Squat all the way down and jump up very high, say "peek a boo!" or something funny. Do this, 10 or more times, then move on to the next exercise.
2)Lay flat on the floor, back to ground, grab lucas and lift him off the ground 10 or more times.
3) Sit down "indian style" and put Lucas on your crossed legs(you can also uncross them), him facing out. (You are both facing the same direction) and just rock all the way back and rock up (Make funny noises so that he will want to do this with you.)Do this 10 or more times.
4)Sit down on a chair and put Lucas on your legs, then do quad extensions, lifting him up and tensing up your quads, hold as long as you can and then release. (10 or more times)
5) Find ways to get Lucas to run for at least 30 minutes, even if not all at once. Ex: Hide and seek, chasing game, jumping races etc.
6) Put Lucas at the bottom of the stairs and you go to the top. Then run down and run up and away from him, making funny sounds. If he wants to come with you, pick him up and "run carefully" up the steps. Be very careful. (do as much as you can and push a little more)
7) Squat down to his level and walk in a squatting position everywhere he goes. (as long as you can. Push a little more)
8) Tell Lucas to lay down under you and do push ups over him. When you come down to his face, kiss it and keep doing more. He doesn't have to be under there the entire time, so if he wants out, it's ok. Try to do at least 10. (girl push ups are ok too)
Start by doing this "8-exercise circuit once" and then move up to 2and then 3 sets.
