Well, I didn't go into labor last night, but I apparently was dilating. The doctor checked me this morning and I am a whole
4 CENTIMETERS!. She IS in fact, head down thank God- I probably won't have to have a c-section. The doctor said it could happen any minute and that I shouldn't wait too long after contractions are regular since Lucas was so fast, and I am already 4 cm. I am technically in the "active labor" phase that starts at 4cm and goes to 7cm, phase 3 being full dilation and delivery!
I was surprised to be dilated that much since I haven't had really bad contractions, but the doctor said I could dilate without knowing it..kinda scary! John isn't supposed to be home til tomorrow morning, so if something happens tonight I hope I am able to contact him...he didn't leave a phone number to contact him through so he better be checking his email! Will update later tonight!

I guess! It's almost like this time is what the first time was supposed to be...my doctor said he would've given me the epidural even at 9cm, so thats a little comforting...still kinda scary to have a big needle in my back. were you scared during the epidural or are you in so much pain you don't care?
