Former Williamsburg Mayor John Hodges died Jan. 23. He was 91.

John Hodges, a retired Army colonel and former mayor of Williamsburg, died Jan. 23. He was 91.
He devoted years of service to Williamsburg, serving on the Planning Commission 1974-80, City Council 1984-92, and as Mayor 1986-92. He also formerly served on the board of Williamsburg Landing, where he resided at the time of his death.
