I just received a wonderful and thoughtful gift from a friend of ours- Kirsten, who used to live here in Williamsburg. I met her on our church's trip to the March for Life in D.C. in 2008, and found out she lived down the street from us! She had 3 kids at the time, including an adorable little 2 yr old girl named Caylor, and she found out she was expecting her 4th right when I found out I was expecting my first! Her husband is in the Army and has served so many deployments to Iraq, and to Sadr City, the worst part of Iraq. About 6 months ago they were re-stationed to Fort Carson, CO but not before donating lots of cute baby girl things to me just in case we had a girl (good guess!). Now she just sent me this cute block for Olivia:
It's so cool to get personalized gifts, especially for your kids. It's even more personal when it's for your kids, with the name you chose for them. What a great gift!
