STILL waiting....

John was able to come home for 6 hours last night, and had to go back in at 10:30pm last night since I didn't progress. He is still at work now, probably coming home soon--he mainly came home and slept. Susan helped me so much with Lucas yesterday, and I just kept busy cleaning to try and induce myself. Good news is all the laundry and bedding are clean! lol.

I started having menstrual-like cramps late last night after John left, but it didn't turn into anything. What scares me is that John's mom just told me that she didn't have any painful contraction when she had John, and she only went in when her water broke---and was already unknowingly 10cm! I don't want to dilate without knowing it and then BAM contractions are bad at 8 cm and I miss an epidural again...but you know, nurses/doctors seem to think it's the WORST thing ever if you come in too early. Sorry to keep on saying the same things and nothing exciting yet--if I have any real contractions I may just go in and see if I am further than I thought.

By the way, we decided to change her name to Boniva. just kidding--Olivia Jane is permanent, even though I don't care for the little pig olivia cartoon...(bad timing). Will update again after running errands and walking around. But my back is already killing me--picking up Lucas this morning was nearly impossible. Thank you Susan for taking care of him now, and when I am gone!
