Lucas & Olivia

I just wanted to show everyone a comparison of the two newborns. My 'irish twins' if you will.
John and I noticed right away that Olivia has his and his mom's nose--and Lucas has my nose. If you look at Lucas', his is a little wider, rounder and flat on the bottom, whereas Olivia has a distinctive little bump on the bottom, (not flat) and little creases on the nostrils just like John. Can you see it? They change so much and so fast though; Lucas doesn't even look like any of his pictures before 5 or 6 months! He got hair and eyebrows and I think is cuter now lol.
Lucas just born:

Lucas at a few days old:

An older picture of me--see lucas' nose?

Olivia newborn:

Johnny--see the nostril lines and shape like hers?

I see it! Great pictures for comparison too :) I know Lucas and Olivia are gonna be BFF's! How have the first days been so far? Is she nursing constantly like Lucas was?

It has been hectic, but I am more concerned about when John goes back to work and I have them both to take up and downstairs etc.!
She is jaundiced just like lucas was, so she is sleeping more than she was the first few days. I have to wake her to feed her and I am mixing my expressed milk with formula (per dr.'s requests) to get her bilirubin levels down for good so we dont have her jaundiced for 6 wks like lucas was. I am most likely going to pump and feed her like i did with lucas--it's just more convenient for me to see how much, and have it on hand at all times, and my nipples aren't protruding enough for her to latch on quite right, so i think this is best for now. I take her to her dr on monday so hopefully she has gained some weight back and the levels have decreased. thanks for asking! I hope she and lucas get along! Lucas is such a huge boy in comparison! He is curious about her but mostly wants attention from us. :)

Just like with Lucas, you will find what works for you. By the time you know it, you're gonna want a third one. That's how it works, just when you think you can't do it, BAM you're doing it :D

yeah, i will always be excited to see the positive preg test. we would like to wait until they are about 4 and 5 so we will technically just have one baby to diaper/breastfeed etc. But we'll see what God gives us. When do you plan on another or do you?

Well I am not home like you are. If I was, we would consider it.

For now, things are good the way they are. :D
