I just got home from the hospital--we had Olivia early Wednesday morning at 5:54am! I don't have time to tell all the details yet, but I just wanted to post a few pictures of her for now! I BARELY got there in time for an epidural and it made all the difference this time---SOOO easy! She was 7 lbs 4 oz, and 20 inches long! I'll write more later:

Congratulations Hodge family! I have to agree she looks just like Lucas. I am so happy to read that every thing went well. I can't wait to hear how it is to have the 2nd one :D She's BEAUTIFUL!
thanks jen and sarah-- she does look like lucas, but lucas has my nose, she has her dads (and john's mom's nose too!) i will blog that soon--something john and i noticed right away!
Oh, I was wondering whose nose she had cuz it is definitely a prominent characteristic, not a typical newborn button nose.
yup--i wonder how she will look when she's older. I've seen cute pictures of johns mom when she was younger, so i am trying to imagine her like louise, with my eyes and possibly mouth. she just looks too alien right now esp. without eyebrows like lucas was-but they change so much in the first year- lucas to me us so muchcuter now lol.
