Grandma and I took Lucas to Red Robin the other day, and he was very good and entertained with his orange balloon, until our food came of course. He always wants to eat what we eat, but he needs some teeth to grow in! I loved these pictures of him with the balloon--he was very intrigued by it and kept trying to grip it with his nails (like he does everything/everyone else). I enjoyed Red Robin; I always get the BLTA croissant because it never disappoints.
Then we went to Borders and I bought him a Veggietales CD for in the car. He was confused when he heard it but smiled. He really loves Veggietales. He has the longest attention span for those movies. I need to buy their newer one "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything." He loves the songs and his favorite character is Junior (the baby asparagus)--he always smiles really big when they show him talking.
Then we took him swimming for a little at Grandma's on the new raft I bought. He liked the pool again, but I think he likes when daddy goes with him better.

thanks---now I know he likes balloons! i love that picture of him swimming too--i had to cut my fat self out...could have been the angle, the water, or just my fatness, but i looked smooshed down to 5 feet with floaters on my arms...when there were no floaters lol.
Sam, Eddie laughs at balloons. He thinks they are the funniest things. Are you coming to Sarah's party this weekend? I know I am asking as if you live down the street, but I am curious.

i guess this is the first time lucas saw a balloon! I wish I could go to the party, but i am not flying out there right now. John and I wanted to fly out this year to see his grandma, and show them lucas, but that was before I got pregnant. i did send max/raquel a gift to use in their backyard (its a water park thing with 3 different stations--hopefully eddie can try it out too!
btw, i take millions of pictures until i get the right one lol.
Awww that was nice of you to send a gift. We just got back from walmart and I bought Eddie a pool. I am inviting his cousins over next week for a get together and baby pool party :P
Anyway, I will be sure to take some swimming trunks for Eddie :)
