Babysitting Alex

Shawna had a prenatal appointment with Dr. Shwayder (it was her first time seeing him) who I recommended from last time around with Lucas. I would've went back to him for this pregnancy, but Newport News is kinda far, and there is a good doctor in Williamsburg too. Dr. Shwayder was so cool because he was very nice, funny and was very pro-life. He's also cute-- in that older man kind of way :)

Anyway, Shawna thought he was so funny and really liked him. She had an ultrasound done at a 4d Fun Fetal Photos place a few weeks ago that said she was having a boy...well in the ultrasound Dr. Shwayder did, he said, "well, i'm just going to have to put a question mark because I don't see that"--so she maybe is having a girl! She will soon go in for her anatomy scan and know for sure. I can't wait til I get to confirm that we're having a girl at 20 weeks.:)

While she went, I babysat her 2 yr old Alex- he is making huge improvements in the healing of his vaccine injury, due to the special diet and therapy his parents have him on. We had fun and played with his toys, the guitars and in the backyard a bit. This is video from when he first woke up. I showed him my guitar, and then took him in his room to change his diaper---and he immediately went and grabbed his toy guitar to play with!

Here are some cute pictures of my visit:

I am sure it will be fine! We will just have to take turns entertaining him! :)
