Spying on Lucas

I turned around to see Lucas talking to his reflection in the mirror on his walker, so I got the camera and slowly got closer and closer to him, without him noticing...so forgive the shaky camera! I think I even hear him trying to say "I love you" to himself.

He's so talking to himself! He's gonna be saying his first word very, very soon! ^__^

yeah i know---i was reading about the 4 month mark being the time when they start to say 'mama' and 'dada'. Lucas is 4 months 16 weeks (~4 months) so he better say it right now or he's behind! no jk.

hey jen + iris- can you imagine yourself having another one yet?

Sometimes! I don't really think i am ready yet but sometimes I already miss things like the way he curled himself into my arm or slept on my chest. Now he is too big to do that.
I love when he discovers new things!!! The other day he finally realized there was a ceiling fan above him, so I turned it on and he was even more amazed. I will miss that kinda stuff.

lucas LOVES ceiling fans lol.

I would SO do it again, with 1 condition:

I would have to be a stay at home mom. This "going to work", just isn't cutting it-Even part time.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate my mother in law. She is doing a WONDERFUL job and who better, besides mom, for him to be with right?

But I should be taking care of him.

I wouldn't want to be dropping off 2 kids at MIL's.

PLUS, she is taking care of our baby while I work and sometimes his cousins (ages 1.5 and 3 months) get dropped off at the same time. It's already a lot of work for her to watch 1. Now she watches three and then one more?

It just wouldn't work. :(

But I totally want to. SHHHHHHH!

So yeah...I've been wanting to write a blog about this, but I don't know how to word it. I just wrote it bluntly to you.

Oh and by the way, Eddie says "AGUA" (spanish word for water) He said it once on accident. But it sounded like the word to me, so I kept repeating it. Now, he says it often. I haven't caught it on camera, but I will to show you.

G swears that when he and the baby are alone, Eddie says mama. XD

thats all very understandable...BUT Eddie came as a surprise right? Guess you're gonna have to see what else God has in store for you :)

thats pretty cool that he is talking! I just took Lucas to a baptism prep class and he was talking (mumbling and ooh-ing) the whole time lol. everyone else was pretty much pregnant, or had newborns..people thought lucas was 6 months already lol...AND they always think he's a girl!

Eddie was 100% planned. Mostly, by his dad, who told me he didn't want kids. He didn't want them because he knew we'd be in this situation (not being able to stay at home)
But then suddenly, G said he wanted one. So we had Eddie.

About people thinking Lucas is a girl, WHAT???? He does NOT look like a girl! What are they talking about?!

What about you? Do you want more already?

oh sorry- i didn't realize eddie was planned!

well, i have to say, I just feel like I only live once and if we have the means and are physically able to care for more, I will always be happy to have more--John is already wanting more too! but it sure would be a lot of work and hard on my body!
