John and I had a game night last night with our good friends Jim and Shawna, who are 13 weeks pregnant right now, and Timmy came along to play some games too. We had a delicious spaghetti dinner with Jim's good stuffed mushrooms and I had some news to share with everyone, and all of you!
*my favorite parts*:
-Shawna ever-wary of the camera trying to avoid it in the beginning lol (sorry I had to use you to surprise John, but you know you look pretty in it!)
-John's confused "girl" answer...

thanks jen---i know it was really hard not telling him, and there were so many lies that came of it (i.e. 'i got my period' lol)
but this is why i was asking you and iris if you guys wanted to get pregnant again already lol..i wanted to come out and tell you, but i wanted more to surprise john---you know how I always have a video announcing it to him--i had to top last year's!lol. your turn!

yeahi didnt know either--they say irish twins because irish catholics just keep on popping babies out back to back lol.
yeah i couldn't wait to tell him! and i am so glad he was happily surprised! i do hope for a girl too---but unfortunately everybody is against my favorite girl name because it is too similar for lucas (lucille). So i may just have to look for some other good ones soon.*
twins!? i don't think so! johns side does have twins but i think the girl's side is the one that counts for twins. hey, i'll take on whatever comes--building God's army here!
Wow!!! Congratulations to the both of you! That surprise was great. I loved John's reaction. He seemed almost chocked up there;) Yeah, another birthday in January. You're just going to be having one big party for that whole month, since it's so full of birthday's. How fun! I actually hope you have another boy since they'll be so close in age. They'll be the best of brothers. A girl would be awesome too. Just to have both genders and for you to experience the difference. What are you hoping for?
Oh Gah Wha?????????? I had a dream that G and I were preggo again and due in January. I had been thinking a lot about it when you were asking us. No wonder! OH my how exciting. My SIL got pregnant last year when her daughter was about 3 months old, I think. She too was worried about what her 2nd pregnancy would do to her. The only thing that stood out is that her plug was coming out almost 2 months before her due date. So, they put her on bed rest. She was fine. She now has a 1.5 yr old toddler and a 4 month old baby. She sure is busy, but you know what? The toddler did a lot of maturing in these few months. She totally helps mom put baby to sleep by singing to her. She also has become very independent. She plays her own videos, feeds herself in her high chair, plays alone and more. You are going to have so much fun. If you have a boy, you can hand down all of Lucas' things. If you have a girl, you can buy new GIRLY things! YAY! Oh and seriously, Sam, you should name your baby what YOU WANT. Not what everyone thinks you should name them.

Yeah!!!!! I'm so excited for you two! Good response, John! Samantha, Josiah and I have been thinking about when we might want to try having our second...now I totally want to have another one! Congrats, and Happy Mother's Day.
Oh I forgot to say, the second delivery is supposed to go really fast. Gosh I am so excited for you eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! O___O
yeah....i know...considering how quickly lucas came, i think i better get to the hospital as soon as i feel any pain at all lol. no more laboring at home and now knowing I am! no more driving to newport news with contractions every 3 minutes! no more walking to the wrong entrance at the hospital and filling out papers when I'm 7 centimeters lol. we'll see if I can do without the epidural again eh?
I am sure you will do it. You already know what the pain is like. And you aren't waiting 2-3 years to have your second. The pain should be relatively fresh in your memory. I think you are having a girl :D Too early to guess? :P
CONGRATS! Two are fun. Ivan and Aidan are 16 months apart and it's crazy sometimes but most the time just a blast...
guess what, I found out today I'm expecting #3!!!
i would like a girl next :) john thinks it would be better to have 2 boys close together.

yeah, a year apart pretty much exactly, will be fun lol. if all 3 boys (hubby included) share the same bday, that will be amazing!
I think he's going to end up moving out here... He spent all of April out here and things went well... As soon as I find us a home (besides the room I'm living in at Dad's house) We'll get to be together for real! :-) Turns out I'm due right around the same time as you. :0)
