I love Walmart

Well, its not always the best, but for right now, they're the best. I ordered my Graco SweetPeace baby swing and a Glider/ottoman set on their website, which listed both items for much less than any ads/sites/stores...(saved $50 on the swing!) And, the shipping was free with the site-to-store option. AND they already came in! Considering it's the Christmas season, it's a big deal that both items came in 2 days BEFORE the expected period even began. I picked them up yesterday, and decided to open them and make sure all the pieces were there, and in tact, which they were. Then I decided to put a few pieces together, and voila! Here they are:

Shmoopy still doesn't know what to think of the swing, but he likes to sit right next to me and watch it swing back and forth. The songs/water/heartbeat noises are cute too, but I will be using the I-pod option; the speaker is pretty clear, and loud.

*Tyrone is still clueless as to anything but his own tail which he has been chasing for the last couple days...only on the rugs though, since the flooring doesn't give him any traction.

OMGAAAAAAAAAAAAA! I LOVE the way you've set up the room! Lucky little Lucas!

I am surprised you go the swing too. You are right. With the season, it should have taken longer, or at least I would expect it to.

My mother in law tried to order the bedding set from Babies R Us for our nursery and she said the site said it would leave their shipping location in 2-3 weeks! WOW! Online only :(

But anyway, your nursery looks wonderful and ready for Lucas. Love the glow in the picture from the window too. Makes it look welcoming :)

Thanks! Now that I have a comfortable place to sit with my feet up, I am more than ready for him.

Yeah, I am very pleased with walmart's site-to-store deal, I even left a comment on their website. I am pretty impatient, especially when I just come up with some idea, or something we should get, I want it now! But I typically find good deals and John usually approves. I love all the 'free shipping' stuff on ebay right now lol.

We are both getting real close to being mommies- things will change so much and in so many ways, and I know I am very naive right now, but I can't see any of those changes as being bad!
alright-better get back to my potatoes (im making the same red ones i made on thanksgiving...call it a craving lol)

Yummy! Potatoes! I love them. I am really into potato salad right now.

You should look at my rump, you can totally see that I like them (____|____) Hello!

That nursery looks like a picture from a magazine :)

thanks--i hope i'm not pushing it, but I really hope john lets me buy the mural still (and not to mention put it up for us lol) But we should spend the money on a breast pump instead. I guess we could always get the mural later, but it just makes it less and less likely we will do it. I want to at least get some pictures or wall decor, but i haven't seen anything worth the price.

the nursery is beautiful! I love the swing you picked out! I still have not decided what to do in that department!
I feel like I am going to have Chase today! I feel huge!

Love the nursery and I'm wanting the mural up too:) The mural would make the room perfect and Lucas can even have it up when he's a teenager, adding surfer stuff. But a breast pump is nice too. You better breast feed. I'm all about it. It's the best thing you can do for your baby. Call me if you have any troubles.

Thanks Jenny- wouldn't it be funny if we all had our boys the same day!?

Brianne- yes I am definitely going to endeavor with breastfeeding. In fact, this morning I woke up with some pain in my left boob and I finally leaked a little stuff lol. It made me feel more confident that I will be able to breastfeed. I signed up for a breastfeeding course, butthe next one they have is jan 13th, and I may already have lucas by then so we'll see. But if I do have problems I will let ya know!

A while back, didn't you say someone's lending you their nice electric pump?
And to put in my 2 cents about breastfeeding: It's NOT the most important thing you do for your baby. Yes, I wasn't able to breastfeed and I do take offense to that. The most important thing you can do is let him know you love him all the time.

You shouldn't take offense to it- Brianne wasn't trying to be condescending, she's just excited because she knows I really want to and she wants to help.
Yeah, someone was going to give us an expensive pump, BUT the husband told john that before asking his wife lol (who doesn't want to give it away). Besides, since we now have accessories for a medela electric, (from the shower) we are going to get the medela one, but probably just the single electric pump.

Aww, that's funny. Okay.

Sorry to offend, Sarah. I didn't mean it's the most important thing for a baby, I just feel breast is best. Can't beat free food;)
