The Graco Swing

We had been planning on buying this Fisher-Price "little lamb" swing, which was on sale at target.com for $149.99, and then we saw it was on sale for $119 at walmart and they have a free "site-to-store" shipping option:

And now that John gave me the go-ahead to order it along with the glider/ottoman set, walmart said they are temporarily unavailable and the price went up to $129. But thankfully I saw another great deal on an even better swing by Graco.
This Graco Sweetpeace swing had over 50 high customer ratings, and the video demo is pretty convincing of how comforting it really is for a newborn. Plus, whereas at target it listed at $179, walmart has it on sale for $136! That's a pretty big difference. It even has an MP3 hookup so I can continue to use make Lucas' playlists!

Click on the link below, and then click "watch a video demo" underneath the picture, to see all the features.

It is also compatible with any graco carseat which is good to know if I don't want to disturb Lucas from the car to the swing. I like all the different motions and it looks cute too. So we ordered the glider ottoman set and the swing and with susan's employee discount, we saved $29 on the order, plus the shipping is free from site to store.
update:
This Graco sweetpeace swing was just raised to $189.99 on target! Boy am I glad I already ordered ours for $136 ($123 after susan's discount!*)Can't wait to get it- should be in before Xmas.

Wow, now THAT swing looks great. It's not on a pendulum, I'm guessing. They're making swings like this more and more.

Now I want to get a swing like that. Ethan sat in his old swing when I was getting things ready for Sophie. He was too big and broke it before Sophie could even use it. Swings are a must! Ethan unfortunately out grew his too fast. It was kind of funny since he was so big the swing just sat there trying to swing him. We would always have to push it to make it swing him. But he LOVED the swing. Great find.

Thanks guys- yeah I keep hearing how important swings are and I'm really glad we ended up getting this one. Shoot, after watching the video demo, I want one for me! They look so comfortable!

Is that John sleeping in his carseat? How cute. Wearing his cowboy hat and boots.
