We arrived Sunday in Palmdale and got to attend our nephew's 5 yr bday party at Stan & Louise' house. Despite the drought, their yard doesn't look too bad! We had delicious barbecue and got to hit a pinata--they were out of the Donald Trump ones though haha.
John was happy to see his bro Kevin and cousin Ken to make all their "really funny" jokes :)

It took 5 kids and Osiris' rage to get that thang open
Then a little sentimental time. John heard about an organization started by a dad of a fallen soldier who makes these cool personalized pens from bullet shells, and they did this for free since John's dad is a Vietnam war veteran :) It was a touching father/son moment
Cousins loved playing together. Hope we get together again soon!
