Redon-doh! Beach...

Last Saturday I went on the Croce annual trip to the Redondo Beach Pier. But I had to screw up the tradition by relying on my GPS instead of following cousin Ken--the first part of the tradition is leaving a gift and flowers at grandpa Eustachio Croce's Mausoleum--he used to take the trip with the family to buy seafood at the pier...The address I was given was in LA...but the Holy Cross Cemetary was in Culver City. TWO HOURS later, we arrived to an obviously perturbed granny..oops! Thankfully the babies did fine on the drive, which was mostly driving 7 mph in horrid traffic and rain.
I took the trip with John and his family when we were dating in December 2002:(will add pic later..)

Here we are 8 yrs later--but this time John wasn't there :( 10 more days though!
Here was the final product for the picture gift we left-I used what crafts Aunt Pauline had, and utilized a little of everyone's ideas:

Then Ken got a little lost on the way to redondo--we all had an off day lol.
Here we are enjoying the boardwalk:

Granny always gets the steamed clams w/ Ken:

Isn't this pic great? It even gives me an appropriate label (to the right of my head...)

Then we went to a delicious chinese food restaurant and everyone including the babies enjoyed it. Was a rough drive home in slow traffic and rain, and we were almost hit once, but we got home alright...SO, since the babies had slept in the long drive home in the car, we decided to join Ken + Linda in making cookies and checking out her Xmas decor--kept the babies up past 11pm lol. Olivia unfortunately had an explosion which required cutting off poopy clothes, and putting her in the bath...she screamed so i thought Lucas might make her feel better..he enjoyed the bath but she didnt. Dried them off--put pjs on and they enjoyed playing and watching Linda's Disney movies all night:)

ELVIS!!!!!!!

After her poop and bath:

Here are the cookie makers---and Ken coming to the rescue with his drill in lieu of a mixer which broke..lol:

Ken's Dennis Miller doll I gave him last year lol:

All's well that ends well, right?
