Kermit Gosnell movie/Pro-Life Rant

For those that do not know about Kermit Gosnell, please read my old blog from 2011:

http://johnsamanthahodge.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

He was an abortionist in Philadelphia, who aside from 'legally' killing babies deemed not 'viable' by the government, was also illegally killing full-term babies, many times already born babies. He had no compassion for the women who came to his clinic, especially since they were predominantly poor black women. He only cared about money. No regard for hygiene, propriety, law or life itself. Despite numerous deaths and complaints, he was allowed to do so for THIRTY years, and supported by tax dollars.

When he was finally charged with the gruesome crimes (which were evident when the police found remains throughout his filthy facility--they were only investigating him on prescription drug charges, his other illegal 'entrepreneurial' venture) the mainstream media ignored it. When he finally stood trial, the media still ignored it--here's a picture of the court room seats reserved for media journalists...empty:

Now a couple of independent documentary film-makers are trying to make a movie exposing his 30 year criminal life, and they were trying to do so based on donated contributions on kickstarter.com...Kickstarter has REFUSED to allow them to receive contributions on their site. How lame.
Well, the bias in the media/'Hollywood', is not only against anything pro-life, but now also against anything TRUTHFUL. They report on Jodie Arias, who was convicted of killing her boyfriend...1 person. This doctor killed babies and women for 30 years, and gets NO coverage?? They in fact try to cover it up! Kickstarter is supposed to be about funding free-speech projects. Yet they are as intolerant as ever.

This film-making couple actually produced another documentary called "Fracknation". Now they are forever shunned for wanting to tell the story of the biggest murderer in American history.

Why the media does not care, and actively tries to hide the case:

1.) Because obviously, the information makes their precious money-making abortion industry out to be corrupt and greedy.
2.) Because the victims were defenseless babies, and poor black women
3.) Because the doctor himself is black, and therefore cannot possibly be racist or corrupt.
4.) Because any talk of the TRUTH about abortion, as opposed to empty rhetoric like "choice, women's rights, and reproductive freedom," threatens the lies they are desperately trying to use to uphold their cause.

Thankfully they have found another outlet, indiegogo that will allow them to raise funds for the film.
I urge you to donate even a dollar to the making of this film, as the true story needs to come out. The truth needs to be revealed to the masses so that women and girls can truly make educated decisions regarding their babies, their bodies, and their souls. Abortion doctors are all about money. Making money for themselves, but also for politicians; our own Commander-in-chief is heavily supported by Planned Parenthood.

Their greed is also recently evident in that Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion-facilitator in the country, has just spent $5M on a new clinic in urban San Antonio TX. They are really angered that Texas has ruled that abortion clinics at LEAST meet the standards of an ambulatory surgery center, meaning they have doorways wide enough to bring in stretchers for emergency botched abortions, (the hazard that ultimately prevented any life-saving chance for one of Gosnell's patients) and for the 'doctor' to have hospital privileges. The hypocrisy, is that PP complained that the large state of TX only has 5 approved 'safe' clinics, and only in big cities. But they didn't put their $5M clinic in a rural area, they put it right in the heart of the city of San Antonio, where there is already a different organizations' abortion clinic. So their concern isn't really just access to abortion for the large state, but more importantly, they want to capitalize on the money they can make killing inside the city. It disgusts me how many celebrities came out to support an immediate reaction to Texas passing safety laws for abortion clinics. How could they fight a bill meant to keep women safer? They really want to keep women in the dark, and collect their money.

I am happy that the state of TX is making some strides in exposing how unsafe, unhealthy and dishonest the abortion industry really is. But there is much work to be done still. Another horrible butcher, Dr. Karpen in Houston was investigated after 3 brave former employees of his came out against his illegal and macabre practices, complete with a testimony, and photographic evidence of VERY late term abortions, and a spreadsheet showing all the money he made killing the larger babies. Just last december, a Houston grand jury REFUSED to indict him. No explanation, just allowed to keep his license and go on murdering. When I was on facebook, I posted the very disturbing picture of the full-term baby the employees revealed...many people are disgusted with people like me, that reveal them, but not with the fact that this is happening everyday in every city. This whacko gets to return to his murderous career of lying to women and maiming their bodies.

The industry is so expansive and insensitive and angry, it's so hard to understand them. They chant "Hail Satan!" to mock pro-life christians outside the courthouse in Austin. They have no problem targeting poor minorities in urban areas with tacky ads for abortion discounts for people affected by natural disasters. They say things like [when life begins is] "not something that I feel is really part of this conversation..I don't know that it's really relevant to the conversation.--Cecile Richards (director of PP)

I am volunteering to help at the counseling center Lifetalk in Frisco--and I may be helping in the baby showers for women/girls who choose life---I'll donate my diaper cakes :) Plus,  I am hoping to attend their training to eventually be a counselor and speak to women/girls with unplanned pregnancies. Another great center is "Pregnancy Help 4U". They are putting on a benefit dinner this Thursday in Irving, and Mike Huckabee is the keynote speaker! John, myself, Susan, my mom, and brother James are attending with John's cousin Teresa & her husband Tim, who are so deeply devoted to the cause.
Please get informed and get involved. Do not be passive about this issue.

Make a GIF

I used this free makeagif.com thing to put my continuous shots together from the circus--then I remembered these photos from October 2012 when I went back to my hometown of Littlerock CA. I sometimes miss the desert, but I'm definitely happy in TX. Check it out:

Hella Shrine Circus

My mom told us about the circus coming to Frisco this week, so we took the kids. I have never been to the circus, so I was excited too! Plus there was a BOGO deal for free child tickets. The kids have a little bit of a cold, so they tired out fairly quickly. They would get excited about the really cool parts, but any dull moment and they'd ask, "can we go home now?"

I was disappointed in the beginning because we got there early since the website said "get here early to ride an elephant and take pictures with the stars"...I assumed it was free. $15 each to ride an elephant. So we just took pictures.
From time to time I wondered how well the animals were treated; elephants, camels, and tigers are not like dogs, that cam wag their tail and obviously enjoy performing...hopefully they train them with treats and not torture..but I wonder how much space they can possibly get in a traveling circus..There weren't any wide open spaces nearby...I tried to ignore that and watched with relief as the bleach-blonde Guy Fieri looking guy fed the elephants carrots for their tricks. :)
Lucas was scared of all the clowns. Olivia was a smidgen more brave then he was:

Humble House For Sale!

We have officially listed our Houston area home for sale today! It was such a rewarding purchase 2 yrs ago, because it was sold so cheap since the previous owner's employer paid their relocation...the realty company had owned it and tried to sell it for a while. They accepted our offer way below list, because there were a lot of repairs and cleaning to be done. We saw it as an opportunity and thank God we did. We cleaned and painted the whole interior (2670 sq ft), then put in all new flooring throughout (vinyl, laminate wood, carpet), replaced all toilets, resurfaced tubs/shower, replaced all sink fixtures, replaced all bathroom vanity mirrors/lighting, put a new fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, new 2 inch blinds throughout, extended the driveway cement, removed a large dead elm in front, new ceiling fans.....and the layout was awesome. I loved all the natural light especially in the game room loft. The acoustics were great for playing music. The kitchen had endless counter space.

And for the past year as a rental with really great tenants, it has been a lucrative investment. It has reached it's ceiling for value, and we are selling with our lender David Moore, who has been our right hand man since we came to the good ol' state of Texas in 2011.
We already have a showing tomorrow!

A March Update

I don't blog as much as I used to, so when I get the chance to upload video and pictures, I just throw em all together for a 'quick' update :)
We had a little pregnancy scare earlier this week; I felt some early symptoms of pregnancy and my breastmilk supply had dropped a lot, so I took some home tests. They were negative but I was still late (which isn't always reliable when you are breastfeeding; my cycles are not regular) so I decided to get a blood test. I was initially scared I was pregnant because I have yet to lose the weight I gained with Frankie, and I am scared to think about having 'irish twins' again as it was very difficult and would be even more hectic with L & O too. We also were beginning to look into adoption agencies and thinking about adopting a baby from the Philippines, so having another baby now would delay that. But after thinking about it, and seeing how adorable and loving Frankie is, we were excited and planning on a Christmas baby. BUT turns out I was not pregnant. So there was a little disappointment, but now we can look into adoption :) We know it's a long process so we figure we should start now.
Anyway my supply had dropped, and Frankie's appetite did not. He is big for his age, and I felt so guilty. I realized the reason why it dropped was because I was eating a lot less calories, and was also working out on my bike. So I have been eating more and will wait to really lose weight until Frankie is closer to weaning. I have been taking mother's milk plus supplement and my supply has come up a bit. I started to try some cereals and other organic baby foods with Frankie. He's still getting used to it, but ate quite a bit. He is almost 5 months and sitting up well. He liked the banana puree :) He hasn't pooped in a few days so I am a tad concerned and will talk to his doctor tomorrow. I am sure that's common when they start solids, but I want to be sure.

Lucas is Frankie's favorite by far; I can't wait til they are able to really play together--I think they will end up sharing a room soon. Lucas was able to make Frankie laugh. We took a little break from school to entertain a bored Frankie, and here's what we got:

School has been going well. They both are pretty good at math and Lucas is at least trying to sound words out now, but he's kinda dyslexic--he thinks words start with the last sound they make. But when he gets motivated he starts to figure them out. Here he is doing 3 digit addition, carrying the one :) He is also doing subtraction well. He cried the other day because he couldn't do the subtraction in his head, but was too proud to use the number poster---he said if he used the poster then he's not smart. :( I showed him how adults rely on calculators and that he needs practice. He uses the abacus or poster now.

Olivia is learning math, and is writing better. Lucas has the neatest writing, but she's getting there. She helps him with his phonics, and he helps her with her math :)

Lucas yelled, "mama! Frankie is holding my hand!" He's got a strong grip!
We took a field trip to the local fire department, that has this awesome learning facility called "Safetytown". We took a short tour, and I learned how much I should've already been teaching L & O about safety. They also have this fake town outside with a walmart and everything--it's made up for kids to ride jeeps and bikes and learn traffic laws :) We will go back during the summer for classes.
He was awesome and taught us about their equipment. They do all this for free.

So we went home and made an escape plan :)
These are some nice quick dry towels we got on groupon. It comes with 2 large bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 face towels for $25 I think.
We have been going to the park a lot as well. It's been getting warmer. This was a windy day---our awesome dinosaur kite flew really high:

The kite fully extended:
Cutie pie woke up at the park:

I made the kids balloon animals the other night and Lucas was being too rough with his and it came apart. He was tired and cried for us to "fix his poodle" which then looked like weiner links. Frankie empathized and they both have the same cry face ...awww. don't worry--Lucas opened his new transformer toy shortly after, and forgot about his weiner/poodle.

Bubbles at the park:
My new method of carrying things up for the night with my clean laundry:
Frankie's new crush:
We took the kids to Jump Zone for being good in school:

Even frankie bounced a little--and loved it!
My beautiful Francis !!!!!!!!!!!!
His face/scalp irritations change throughout the day...Eucerin helps a little..but he has to keep this socks on his hands or he scratches til he bleeds...even in his sleep.
I love this picture--he didn't like the applesauce...too tart.
That's all for now!
