The Leak

 The weather has warmed up a little since having had that ice storm a week ago. The back of the house has a little trough-like area right in front of Susan's bedroom window upstairs and that is where all the runoff collected and froze...some places almost a foot thick. So when the weather warmed, it began melting and we started seeing wet spots in the ceiling of the living room...this line eventually bubbled up and burst open and a bunch of water poured in. The first dripping I noticed was on the window sills...we always felt a draft in that room..looks like the windows werent sealed or insulated? and the roof already leaks...waiting to hear back from builder--so far it stopped but obviously needs repair...

 This bucket probably collected an inch worth of water.

Meanwhile, Olivia got her bangs trimmed by aunt Susan :) I like them. She came down wearing Lucas' old tuxedo coat:

 And the kids got Xmas gifts from their Godparents in PA--might open them tonight :)
