More Xmas!

Xmas 2013

We celebrated a day early since John worked Xmas night shift. Here are some pictures and eventually I'll put up some video excerpts. I got up to pump at 9am, and the kids were still sleeping...I knew if I laid back down, I would fall asleep and wouldn't catch their reaction, so we got up and woke them up :)

Winter Drive?

Today we bundled up and went on a "winter holiday drive"as John called it :) He wanted to drive up to Celina, and look at houses. We like our Savannah house a lot, but the lots are small so we are just checking out properties in more rural areas surrounding us. On the way , we drove through Prosper and saw this huge property...found out it's Deion Sanders' home--that he and his now ex-wife lived in while they had a reality show in 2008---above is my phone pic---below are some pictures online:

Apparently when he moved here (believe they are still in the process of bitterly divorcing? and splitting the assets..) he threw loads of cash into the community and especially into the high school, so his kids could play football for a good school. Pretty cool.

TNT Xmas

Last night we went back to Teresa's to celebrate Xmas with them since we won't be with them on the real day. Also, we are celebrating a day early since John works Xmas---so for us, Santa comes tonight! I have the nursery full of wrapped gifts, and figured out that I could lock the door, but leave the door to the balcony open so I could get there from the master balcony door :)

    Anyway, we had a great dinner with bbq chicken and steak, spinach, zucchini, and they made me candied yams! My favorite lol. (And something that I AM allowed to eat for now lol) Then we opened gifts:

 This was our gift to them; Settlers of Catan game :) They caught on fast! Was lots of fun and I hope we play again soon.
I texted this pic to Shawna (our game night friends...that introduced us to it all!) and her comment was hilarious---->

 The gifts Teresa and Tim gave us were all perfect! Lucas and Olivia both got rosaries with an instructional DVD for kids, Lucas got a hot wheels track and cars, Olivia got a cute doll and purse with jewelry, and we got a nice angel puzzle 1500 piece, and a beautiful big cross for our home. Will take pictures soon! Frankie for this cute outfit! Thank you!

Grapevine

We finally got to enjoy Grapevine but it was pretty bitterly cold! Thank God Frankie stayed asleep so he could stay bundled up in the carseat the whole time. Here we are walking down Main st to look at lights and displays--also got to finally mail those letters to Santa out :)
