A little update

I am 39 weeks. I think this pregnancy is the most impatient (and uncomfortable) I've been so far. Today is a rainy day, and I think the barometric pressure is supposed to help :) I have been having menstrual-like cramping today, which usually means cervical dilation. If i'm right, then I would be considered to be in 'active labor' which is from 4-6 cm. With Olivia and Lucas, they came naturally exactly 6 days prior to their due date, so late tonight would be in line with my history!

Doing lots of cleaning today to keep busy and help progress naturally. I am anxious to have Frankie, but I would rather him come naturally than be induced thursday. If nothing happens tonight,  I have my 39 wk appt tomorrow morning, so we should find out fairly soon how imminent true labor is.

This is the small hospital I will be giving birth at, called Baylor Frisco. It's a very nice hospital, in the richer part of Frisco, and I've been told by so many people how nice their labor & delivery ward is--by friends and strangers! They say the hospital provides you and your husband a steak & lobster meal on your last night :) Come on Frankie!

Having trouble sleeping, for many reasons. Just being this big, is hard to find a comfortable position, I wake up having to pee almost every 2 hrs, and when I am sleeping, I wake up from John's horrible snoring; he won't clean out and refill his apnea machine so it's just all night of hearing this sudden loud "HUNKKKKKKKKKKKK" out of nowhere. He doesn't respond to light taps, gentle pushes, hard shoves, or his own blaring alarm, so I've resorted to pinching his nipples til he wakes up and repositions.

But he's as excited and anxious as I am--texting me from work, "feeling anything?" I don't want to mislead him (or myself) but today has been lots of period cramping so I think it's safe to say, Frankie is preparing for his arrival. Back to cleaning~~will update with any changes :)
