John actually works with a few guys he worked with while working as a nuclear electrician in the Navy. But another friend Timmy lives in Austin, which is a little over 2 hours away. He was visiting Houston so we all met up with them for dinner in the city at a place called "Spaghetti Warehouse".
I wasn't too hungry, and didn't want to overdo my WW points, so I got a Ceasar salad--not really my thing, but I am glad I didn't get a heavy sauce and pasta dish. The babies behaved fairly well, although the place was so busy it scared her to be around that many loud people.

Olivia looks so happy :)
It was fun to see old pals he worked with even though they were all miserable in the Navy. Everyone seems to have either found a good job, or working toward a career and degrees. John will be enrolling in the local community college in the spring. He finally spoke to a counselor about the GI Bill benefits. I am excited to "help" with homework lol.
