one night thank God. Here are a few pictures from the first day's drive:
The prettiest truck we saw--and it actually made me want now n' laters!
My cute little girl with her scrunched-nose smile:
Catching her in a yawn:
Lucas sayin "cheese!" while watching Willy Wonka:
First food place on John's list: Sweet P's BBQ in Knoxville TN. Was alright:
Millions of birds!
Lucas trying to get some sleep in his blankey:
Don't worry Lucas is watching the road :)
Happy to be out of the car:
We drove a few more hours to Nashville where we stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. The receptionist was rude, room wasn't great for the price, but we had dinner at Neely's (last year we had Neely's in Memphis--delicious!) This was the best BBQ ever. Very nice place too. Picked up some sauce for John's dad, and headed for OK the next day. :)
This is Linda the nice lady who fixed the free continental breakfast--pretty good!
Too tired to do another day---more tomorrow :)
