Thanksgiving 2010

Louise & Stan toiled away in their kitchen to prepare a 23 lb turkey, (since we giants joined them this year) and all the delicious side dishes, but we brought it all over to grandma Croce's for Thanksgiving 'dinner' at ~1pm. Aunt Pauline, granny, Cousin Ken & Linda, Uncle Jerry & Linbeth and their little dog Bailey all enjoyed the meal with us---and of course Lucas was picky and sat to watch Toy Story, while Olivia pigged out on yams and turkey. Everything was so good, and even though we were all full we ate Pauline's delicious pumpkin pie too! Linda was so good with the babies; she and Lucas enjoyed The Jungle Book and Toy Story together (and he went to sleep), and Olivia fell asleep in Linda's arms. So cute! They hadn't had their nap yet. :)

Petrified Forest National Park 11-14-10

We drove through the 28 miles of beautiful Petrified wood. The painted desert was so pretty and the babies enjoyed most of it from the car. Very tempting to take a souvenir, but it's a $325 fine and a crime to deplete the park of it's 225 million yr history!

The Big Texan 11-13-10

Next stop was back at The Big Texan. It feels like just yesterday we were eating here, being served by our waiter Lucas, when I was still pregnant with Olivia. The food was just as good as last time, and there was so much to look at and entertain everyone with. I love this place in the middle of nowhere!

There were so many pictures I liked so here are a bunch of them--no time for little captions--but you can see this place was fun for all!

The end of a nice day :) See ya soon Big Texan!
