Swimming & Red Robin

John had a long day at work yesterday, so Susan and I took Lucas to grandma's to go swimming. He loved it and loves to splash and kick. I need to get him some floatees because all the rafts and other floatation stuff is always in John's car!

Then we decided to go to the mall and eat Red Robin. The food was disappointing, took forever, didn't listen to our requests, and the place was freezing. It wasn't busy at all, and there were 10 waitresses just standing around, and they still had the bartender be our server, which is why it took so long. Lucas was sooooo good and pleasant for the first half hour, but even we wanted to leave by then. Was expensive this time too--won't be going there for a while.

Then we walked around the mall, but since my stroller was in john's trunk, we were going to rent one from the mall. Well, they cost $5, and the wheelchairs were free, so Norman Susan or mom pushed me around holding Lucas who was very happy too. We forgot to stop by Toy's R' Us (since we have a gift card) but it was already 7pm so we went home. John actually got home around 5pm, so he was sleeping on the couch. He said "I need to get you a cell phone." lol...I think I'm probably the only person in the world that doesn't have one. But I never needed one and I am annoyed by people who use them all the time and can't be without them etc.
Anyway, it was a fun trip and Lucas enjoyed himself, since he was distracted from his throbbing gums. I'm telling you, any day now he's gonna show some teeth!

You made me laugh about the wheelchair part :D

I love taking Eddie to the pool. Actually, we are going to a pool party this weekend.

Nice pictures :)

hey i guess i'm cheap, but i didn't want to pay $5 for an hour of walking around. Plus I already have pregnancy back pains (exacerbated by picking up fatty lucas) so it was a nice break. Lucas liked being in my lap too :)

Yup--lucas LOVES swimming and baths. He is a water baby. pool party sounds fun!does eddie like the water?
