Lucas 7 months stuff

Lucas is advancing so quickly, but he is getting more and more frustrated too. He is constantly pulling himself up on whatever is around, and then trying to "cruise" and walk holding the couch, but when he falls even if it's not painful, or not even on his head, he cries for a while and needs consoling. And he's learned that is the process; he likes more and more sympathy from whoever is around. He keeps pulling himself up in the crib and trying to get out. He ends up sleeping in our bed and tossing and turning, pushing his head up into the headboard...

And he loves fruit. Frozen fruit in these little mesh things are his favorite. Mango, peach and pineapple. And he's eating a lot of the different graduate puffs/snacks. He smiles and laughs even more because he is understanding more. He thinks it's really funny that I call my big water jug "mama's baba." Today when he was eating some applesauce in his high chair he was mumbling but I swear he said "Obama"--I spanked him real hard for that. (just kidding)

John kinda has a 4 day weekend when he gets home early tomorrow morning, so we will have to take Lucas to Busch or something. Also, we are so excited to find out the sex Monday morning---make your predictions now!

I am thinking a girl too. I have thought that since you announced your pregnancy!

Btw Chase just started trying to pull him self up too....so cute to watch. Chase loves him mesh food thing too. you should puree blueberries. freeze in ice cube tray and put them in there...he will love that too. :)

we dont have a food processor and the blender sucks! but we may end up buying one.

are they allowed to have blueberries yet? I just stay away from all the berries for fear of allergies...

Blueberries are not a common allergen - they are not in the allergenic "berry" family. Blueberries are related to cranberries - cranberries appear on many lists of "least allergenic foods". The blueberry is native to North America and is closely related to the cranberry. The blueberry shares no "family" relationship with the strawberry or blackberry or raspberry. Blueberries are not related to strawberries, raspberries and the like. Those "true" berries may be mild to highly allergenic. There are horticultural differences in blueberries/cranberries and straw/rasp/blackberries as well.
