Making Other Wives Envious

I was sitting on the couch, breastpumping 5 oz as fast as I could, because Lucas had already woken up crying his head off, and the dogs start barking like crazy...the doorbell rang, and I realized actually how lucky I am to get to stay home and do the things I do for my husband; this is what I opened the door to:

I've always loved lillies!

Yeah, John will read my blog when he gets home and probably be a little embarassed but I am proud to be married to him not just because he is responsible and takes care of us, but because he really does do sweet things for me and I need to notice them more.
HUSBANDS: Take Note!

I had been telling him I want him to be more romantic, or just show me that he values me, but I never thought he really listened. In just 2 weeks, we will celebrate our 5 yr anniversary and I want to do something special together, (provided he has the day off) but it has to include baby lucas unless mom or susan can babysit. Any ideas?

I'm jealous. That is so sweet. Is your anniversary the 12th of April like ours? On Easter.
We might go away this year to San Simeon and visit Hearst Castle. We'll see. We are trying to save money to buy a house maybe by the end of the year so we may not want to spend much. We found a deal in our Westways magazine for $100 per person for a two night stay, breakfasts,a dinner one night and a pass to Hearst Castle. If we want to save we might just go camping, which we both love. Maybe you can go camping and you can even bring Lucas. We went camping by ourselves (meaning no one was around but us) when we had Ethan as a tiny baby. He slept in his carrier with lots of blankets. He actually loved it.

Well first off we can babysit if you trust us! :)

Second, they are beautiful! That is my favorite combo of flowers! I am glad he listened!!!

thanks- wow that sounds fun! and cheap- you guys should do it. i would go camping with you guys, but john and i aren't the most outdoorsy smart people, we would need experienced people lol. our families didn't camp.
maybe we can do something together sometime. You are brave to take your little ones camping but you seem like you keep everything in order and they have fun so good job!

shawna- well thanks! Of course we trust you, I just wouldn't want to burden you with a baby when you have a 2 yr old, and you're preggo! but we will keep it in mind if we end up doing something (watch us end up celebrating our anniv with game night lo!)
