Colonial Williamsburg

We have lived in Williamsburg for almost 2 years, and we still haven't truly explored all of Colonial Williamsburg, or taken a tour of it to be educated about all that is there. Since the weather was nice yesterday, John and I decided to take Lucas for a stroll through it, although Lucas pretty much slept the whole time. Here are some pictures we took:
This is the Bruton Parish church, built in 1683, where the signers of the Declaration of Independence once worshipped.

This is a picture of it in the 1930's
----------------------------------------------------------------
This was the Capitol of the Commonwealth of Virginia-the first Capital building in America in 1705

This is a postcard image of it circa 1941

And here are some more random pictures:
The freaky-deeky Masonic building

Some freaky old graves

Trying to wake Lucas up

John and Lucas in front of the seamstress (millinery) -see the man inside?

Ye olde Post Office (working there couldn't have been as hard as it was for me in NY lol)

The Williamsburg Inn, where the current Queen Elizabeth II stays when she visits (and brings her own horse-drawn carriage!)
